Earlier this year, Motorola made waves with the launch of its Razr Plus flip phone, featuring one of the largest cover screens among flip phones. Now, in a nod to nostalgia and style, the company has introduced a new color variant for the Razr Plus – “Peach Fuzz.” This unique color edition is a result of Motorola’s collaboration with the color institute Pantone, which bestowed upon it the prestigious title of Color of the Year for 2024.

Described by Motorola as a “velvety, gentle peach hue,” Peach Fuzz is said to embody feelings of togetherness, community, and collaboration. It joins the existing color choices of black, blue, and magenta, offering users a fresh and stylish option for their Razr Plus.

The new Peach Fuzz variant of the Motorola Razr Plus is now available for purchase on the company’s website. As a limited-time offer, it is priced at $699, reflecting a $300 discount, according to the company.

The Razr Plus holds significant importance for Motorola, having raised the standards for flip phones in 2023. Its standout feature is a spacious 3.6-inch cover display that can run most applications. This innovative approach transforms the cover screen into a functional part of the device’s screen real estate, a departure from its historical role of merely displaying notifications.

Despite the introduction of the Peach Fuzz hue, the phone retains the same specifications that contributed to its initial success. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the Razr Plus boasts a 3,800-mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities, an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance, and, notably, the expansive 3.6-inch cover screen capable of running a variety of apps.
