As you look for ways to recover from holiday spending, examining your various subscriptions can be a smart starting point. Whether it’s streaming services like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Spotify, Hulu, and Disney Plus, or practical subscriptions like AppleCare, it’s time to assess their relevance to your current needs.

Discovering and managing your subscriptions is a straightforward process on your mobile device. If you’re using an iPhone, access your subscriptions through the Settings app. Navigate to your name, select Subscriptions, and you’ll find a comprehensive list of active and inactive subscriptions. Identify the ones you no longer need, tap on them, and hit the Cancel Subscription button. Confirm the cancellation, and you’re on your way to saving money. Keep in mind that while some services allow access until the billing period ends, others might restrict usage immediately upon cancellation.

For Android users, the process is equally seamless. Head to the Google Play Store, select Payments & subscriptions, and then Subscriptions to view your active and inactive subscriptions. To cancel a subscription, tap on it, select Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts. Android may suggest alternative, more budget-friendly options before finalizing the cancellation. Rest assured that you’ll retain access to the service until the end of your billing cycle.
