Lenovo continues to push the boundaries of innovation, updating its dual-display Yoga Book 9i with the formidable Core Ultra processors, unveiled at CES 2024. Retaining its distinctive feature of dual 13-inch, 2.8K OLED displays, the Yoga Book 9i still boasts a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, a pen, a mouse, and an origami stand, providing flexibility in arranging the displays side by side or one above the other. Initially praised for its unique design, the previous version was perceived as more of a portable all-in-one than an everyday laptop.

The enhanced Yoga Book 9i is set to feature Intel Core processors, accommodating up to 32GB of RAM and offering storage options of up to a 1TB SSD. Powering the dual displays is a substantial 80-watt-hour battery. Anticipated to hit the market in April 2024, the updated model will start at $2,000.

Not stopping there, Lenovo introduces another noteworthy update – the Yoga Pro 9i Gen 9. This top-tier two-in-one boasts a remarkable 16-inch, 3.2K mini-LED display, fueled by the potent Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and RTX 4070 GPU. Catering to both content creators and consumers, the mini-LED display and robust CPU/GPU combination are set to elevate the media experience. With a luminous display reaching up to 1,200 nits and a six-speaker array, the Yoga Pro 9i Gen 9 is expected to ship in April, starting at $1,700.

Among the diverse array of laptop announcements at CES, one stands out – the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid. This unassuming yet versatile detachable two-in-one not only transitions physically between tablet and laptop modes but also seamlessly toggles between Android and Windows on the software front. Marrying a fully functional Android tablet with a Windows 11 laptop, Lenovo addresses the navigation concerns on touchscreens with its innovative approach. The tablet, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD, complements the keyboard/base featuring an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The hybrid system shares a commendable 14-inch, 2.8K OLED panel. Set to hit the market in Q2 with a starting price of $1,999, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid offers a glimpse into a harmonious blend of dual operating systems.
