As the highly anticipated Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas looms just a week away, LG has chosen to steal the spotlight early by revealing its 2024 lineup in the acclaimed gram laptop series. Going beyond mere updates to existing models, the South Korean tech giant is introducing the gram Pro, a model designed to set new benchmarks in the world of computing. Noteworthy is the integration of AI functions accessible through the LG gram Link app, with the Pro models boasting additional support from Intel’s neuron processor, the Intel AI Boost.

The LG Gram Pro lineup introduces two impressive screen sizes—16 inches and 17 inches. The larger variant flaunts a resolution of 2560×1600 and a refresh rate of 144Hz, while the 16-inch version boasts a resolution of 2880×1800 with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Providing users with the power of choice, LG offers configurations featuring either Intel’s integrated Arc graphics card or the dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. These machines support up to 32GB of memory and offer storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

For those seeking versatility, the LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 emerges as a laptop/tablet hybrid, exclusively available with a 16-inch screen. Sharing specifications with its conventional counterpart, the 2-in-1 model presents the same screen resolution options, albeit limited to the integrated Intel Arc as the graphics card choice.

When it comes to connectivity, both the LG Gram Pro and the 2-in-1 version are equipped with a comprehensive array of ports, including two second-generation USB 3.2 ports, two third-generation USB 4 ports with Power Delivery, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt 4, and an HDMI 2.1 port.

Not stopping at the Pro series, LG is also introducing new additions to the regular Gram lineup, offering 14-, 15-, 16-, and 17-inch options. Each model caters to diverse preferences, with varying resolutions and screen sizes. The gram series features the integrated Intel Arc graphics card, with memory options ranging from 8GB to 32GB and storage capacities spanning 256GB to 2TB.

While the specifics regarding the launch date remain undisclosed, LG’s bold move ensures that tech enthusiasts can look forward to an array of groundbreaking laptops that promise to redefine the boundaries of innovation.
