Google unveiled a slew of updates set to enhance the user experience across various Pixel devices, with notable additions like the AI-driven Circle to Search feature and the innovative Thermometer app, exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro. The Circle to Search functionality, initially showcased at Samsung’s recent Unpacked event for the Galaxy S24 series, makes its debut on the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, allowing users to seamlessly search for content by simply circling it on the screen. Developed in collaboration with Samsung, this feature promises intuitive navigation and swift access to desired information.

Meanwhile, Pixel 8 Pro owners will benefit from the inclusion of a Thermometer app, leveraging the device’s built-in temperature sensor to measure body temperature accurately. This functionality fills a noticeable gap since the Pixel 8 Pro’s launch, providing users with the ability to monitor their health conveniently. Additionally, the results can be stored directly in one’s Fitbit profile, further integrating health tracking into daily routines.

Furthermore, Google expands its generative AI offerings with the introduction of Magic Compose, a feature designed to refine message drafts by adjusting their style and tone. Available on select Pixel models, including the Pixel 8 Pro, Magic Compose empowers users to craft messages that resonate with professionalism, conciseness, or even a touch of Shakespearean flair. With support for multiple languages, this feature ensures broader accessibility and personalized communication experiences.

In tandem with these software enhancements, Google introduces the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro in a new mint color variant, exclusively available through the Google Store and Google Fi Wireless. This refreshing addition to the Pixel lineup adds a touch of vibrancy to the range, offering users a stylish option to complement their preferences and personalities.
