Razer’s ultraportable powerhouse packs in a Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 3080 Ti for $2,000.
Nvidia announced a refreshed version of its Razer Blade 14 laptop at CES 2024, and it’s available for sale today. But if you’re okay with parts that are a little older but still phenomenally powerful, you can grab the 2022 edition of the laptop at a massive discount on Razer’s official store today. Powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor and a beefy RTX 3080 Ti graphics card, this version of the Blade 14 is $1,500 off its retail price, down to $1,999.99.
As is Razer’s typical style, this version of the Blade 14 crams its high-end parts into a sleek and slim a build as possible, with its CNC-milled aluminum body just .66 inches (16.8mmm) thick. This configuration of the laptop comes with 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz memory (which sadly can’t be upgraded) and 1TB of M.2 PCIe 4.0 storage (which can). This model comes with a 14-inch 2560×1440 screen maxing out at a speedy 165 hertz.
Even a generation old, that one-two punch of the Ryzen 9 processor and 16GB of video RAM on the RTX 3080 Ti should be more than enough to run the latest games at high settings on the default QHD, or output to a 4K monitor with the laptop’s full-sized HDMI port. The design also includes double USB-A and USB-C ports with USB 4.0 functionality, which isn’t a given even now.
Razer is probably clearing out older stock with this deep discount, so there’s no telling how long it will last. If you want one, get an order in quickly — Razer will throw in a free messenger bag for your trouble.
