Guinness World Records recently recognized an astonishing new record for the most gaming consoles connected to a single TV. Ibrahim Al-Nasser, a passionate game collector, achieved this feat by connecting a staggering 444 gaming consoles to just one television. His collection spans decades, beginning with the Magnavox Odyssey from 1972, the first home gaming console, and concluding with the PlayStation 5 Slim, released by Sony in 2023.

What makes Al-Nasser’s accomplishment even more remarkable is not just the sheer number of consoles but the rarity of some of them. Among his collection is the elusive Super A’can, a fourth-generation console from 1995 that was only available for a short time in Taiwan, with just 12 games ever released for it.

In the official Guinness World Records video, viewers are treated to a tour of Al-Nasser’s game room, where they witness his intricate setup. To manage the massive collection, he utilizes 12 HDMI switches and 30 RCA switches, enabling him to seamlessly switch between consoles as needed. Despite the complexity, Al-Nasser’s cable management is impeccable, with not a single wire in sight—a feat he credits to using every tool available on the market.

When asked about his favorite console, Al-Nasser doesn’t hesitate to declare the Sega Genesis as his all-time favorite. He even shares a sentimental moment, kissing the 16-bit console that Sega launched in the late 1980s.

Looking ahead, Al-Nasser may soon need to expand his setup to accommodate upcoming releases. With the PlayStation 5 Pro, Nintendo Switch 2, and a likely upgraded Xbox Series X expected in 2025, his record-breaking collection is poised to grow even further.
