It could outpace Samsung and Google
9to5Google reports that OnePlus’ upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, will have a pretty hefty battery. According to the information, the battery will be a whopping 6000mAh, making it 600mAh more than its predecessor, the OnePlus 12.
As there are also rumours that the OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, it is unclear how much battery life will be affected by the larger battery. It is possible that the newer components will quickly eat up the extra battery capacity but we’re keen to find out.
To put it in context, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra both have a 5000mAh battery and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5060mAh battery
The OnePlus 13 is also rumoured to have the same charging specifications as the OnePlus 12, 100W fast charging via USB-C, and 50W wireless charging.
