Logitech is set to introduce a new PC accessory similar to the Elgato Stream Deck, but with a unique focus on boosting control and productivity for photo, video, and audio editing. As reported by The Verge, this innovative product is named the MX Creative Console and consists of two complementary devices.
The first device is a keypad equipped with nine dynamic LCD buttons that can be programmed to launch different applications or execute various actions within each app. Additionally, it features two paging buttons that allow users to navigate through 15 pages, enabling a total of 135 actions per application.
The second component is a customizable dial designed for scrolling actions, whether it’s adjusting brush sizes in Photoshop, scrubbing through timelines in Premiere Pro, or zooming in and out in Lightroom. Surrounding the dial are four extra buttons for frequently used functions, such as undoing the last action.
Logitech has developed custom plugins for Adobe’s most popular applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. With Logitech’s app, users can easily tailor the buttons and pages for each specific application.
The Logitech MX Creative Console is now available for pre-order in both Pale Grey and Graphite color options, priced at $199.99. Each purchase includes a three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps, with pre-orders expected to ship on October 14, 2024.
