Microsoft is inviting users and developers alike to participate in its Store Awards 2024 by nominating their favorite apps, according to a report by Windows Central. Whether you’re an app creator or an everyday user, you can submit nominations—even for your own apps. The only requirements are that the app must be publicly available in the Microsoft Store by September 15, 2024, and it cannot be owned by Microsoft employees. Games are also eligible for recognition.
“We’re looking to highlight apps of all sizes, from well-established brands to indie developers and individual creators. We want to showcase apps that inspire others to develop amazing, useful Windows applications. This is about recognizing the apps you rely on daily to make your life easier and more enjoyable.”
The nomination window is open until Sunday, September 15, 2024. Afterward, apps will be evaluated based on user experience, innovation, uniqueness, and how well they integrate with the latest hardware and technology.
If you’re ready to nominate an app, you can do so using Microsoft’s official nomination form. For multiple entries, you’ll need to submit separate forms for each app you wish to nominate.
