In celebration of October’s Prime Day sales (which kick off tomorrow), Amazon is offering an Audible deal on its audiobook subscription, and you don’t even need to be a Prime member to sign up.
You can grab three months of the service for just 99p per month for three months. After the promotional period is over, this jumps back up to the standard price of £7.99 per month.
I recently finished my three month free trial from Amazon’s last Prime Day, yet I’m also eligible for the offer – I found out via email, and the display ads on Audible’s site. You can bet I’ll be signing up later this month after using my subscription basically every day.
With an Audible subscription, you get one audiobook title to download and keep each month, plus unlimited listening to thousands of select Audible Originals, podcasts and audiobooks.
This means you can listen to Sally Rooney’s highly anticipated new release, Intermezzo, as well as Richard Osman’s We Solve Murders.
I recently got in the autumnal spirit with Lucy Jane Wood’s debut cosy autumnal read, Rewitched, which I binged over the last fortnight. Next on my list is Emily Henry’s bestseller, Book Lovers.
The biggest thing I love about audiobooks is that I can take a story on my walks with a coffee, or use them to pass the time while I’m doing mundane tasks such as the washing up. If you struggle to find the time to sit down with a book, this is certainly worth a try.
This deal is open to both new and returning customers of Audible, but not existing members with an active subscription (including a free trial). The offer is available until 21 January 2025.
The same deal is also available in the US, of course for the American equivalent price of 99c per month for three months. After that, the price jumps back up to the standard cost of $14.95 per month.
The Audible app works on iPhone, Android, Windows, or on Amazon’s own Fire Tablet, Fire TV and Echo.

You get a credit every month which can be applied to any audiobook, regardless of its price or length.
