Epomaker x Feker Alice 60 Wood: A Stunning $549 Wireless Split Keyboard

As a true aficionado of mechanical keyboards, I’ve seen my fair share of wild designs, but nothing quite compares to the unique charm of the Epomaker x Feker Alice 60 Wood. This is a full split ergonomic keyboard that’s not just wireless but also crafted entirely from wood. And yes, it’s expensive — the complete set, including a wireless numpad and wrist rests, will set you back $549.

But considering the craftsmanship and features, it might actually be worth the price. The keyboard’s body and keycaps are made from 100 percent real wood, with the legends possibly featuring inlaid wood or contrasting stains, adding a gorgeous touch of elegance. The visual appeal doesn’t end there; this keyboard packs a punch in terms of functionality as well. It offers triple-mode wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and multi-device pairing), gasket mounting for a soft, bouncy typing experience, and hot-swap switch sockets to give you ultimate customization flexibility.

Is $549 a steep price for a keyboard? Well, in the realm of high-end, custom mechanical keyboards, it’s actually not out of line. Custom wood keycap sets and bodies often cost a pretty penny, and this one, while pricey, still offers something unique. Compare it to Razer’s most expensive gaming keyboard, which goes for around $350 but lacks wood and customizability, and suddenly the Epomaker doesn’t seem so bad.

That said, it’s worth noting that split keyboard users are quite particular about their setups. Some, like my coworker Alaina Yee, may find the lack of tenting (adjustable vertical angle) a deal-breaker, especially if they’re looking for specific ergonomic adjustments. If you’re fine with this omission, though, the Epomaker x Feker Alice 60 Wood is now available for pre-order and will ship by late December.
