When will my phone get Android 15?

Google has officially launched the next major version of its mobile operating system. Android 15 has been officially released, and it includes quite a few exciting features.

But will your phone get it, if it hasn’t already? Not all devices running Android 14 are compatible. Here’s what you need to know.

Which phones will get Android 15?

Below you will find a list of phone manufacturers and models that are eligible to receive Android 15 in the UK and/or US.

Apple

Apple devices operate on iOS and don’t receive Android updates. If you want to know which iPhone is compatible with iOS 18, read our dedicated article.

Samsung

As of February 2025, Samsung began rolling out the Android 15 update, integrated with its One UI 7.0 interface, to various Galaxy devices.

The initial release commenced with the Galaxy S25 series on 22 January 2025. Following this, the update is being progressively extended to other eligible models.

It’s important to note that this rollout schedule currently applies to devices in China. For global users, including those in the UK, the update is expected to become available in the early months of 2025.

As a reminder, Honor doesn’t officially sell its devices in the US. If you live there and own one of Honor’s phones, you’re likely to get the update around the same time as the UK, but it’s not guaranteed.
