Galaxy Tab S10 FE series rumours: Big specs & design leaks

Samsung’s Fan Edition (FE) tablets have become a reliable choice for those seeking a budget-friendly alternative to the premium Galaxy Tab series.

Following the success of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, it seems the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is on the horizon.

Here’s everything we know so far about the release date, price, and expected features of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE.

When will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE series be released?

Samsung has yet to officially announce a release date for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. However, there are signs that it could launch relatively soon.

Back in November 2024, the company unintentionally confirmed the existence of this new tablet. As per GalaxyClub’s report, a promotion on Samsung’s US website offering a one-year Goodnotes subscription for Tab S10 and Tab S10 FE buyers specifies the deal is valid for devices purchased and activated by 31 July 2025. This all but confirms that the Tab S10 FE will hit the market well before that date.

Since then, yet another clue has emerged (via MySmartPrice), albeit a minor one. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has certified the batteries for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, indicating that the tablet will be available in India. The dual battery system for the device is associated with the model numbers EB-BX526ABE and EB-BX526ABY.

This certification doesn’t provide further details about the mid-range tablet, but Samsung’s earlier slip-up referred to the “Galaxy Tab S10 FE series”, suggesting that there may be at least two models in the lineup.

Additionally, as per Xpertpick, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ was certified by the FCC in March 2025, confirming the tablet is fast approaching.

Looking at Samsung’s history, the Tab S7 FE launched in June 2021, while the Tab S9 FE debuted in October 2023. This inconsistent timeline makes predictions tricky, but mid-2025 looks pretty likely.

How much will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE series cost?

Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is yet to be confirmed, but if Samsung follows its usual strategy, the tablet should target mid-range Android tablet buyers.

Ytechb reports that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE (Wi-Fi only) will come in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB versions, priced at $499 and $569, respectively. The S10 FE+ will offer the same configurations but at higher prices of $649 and $749. These prices apply to the non-cellular variants.

Compared to the previous generation, the S10 FE series sees a $50 price increase. However, the report doesn’t mention UK prices.

What specs and features will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE series have?

While official details remain sparse, rumours and leaks give us a good idea of what to expect from the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series.

Design

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE series is likely to maintain the sleek and minimalist design language of its predecessors.

WinFuture shared high-quality renders of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the S10 FE+, confirming their design remains nearly identical to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, including retaining the IP68 rating.

Ytechb also shared very similar-looking renders, revealing that both tablets will come in Grey, Silver, and Blue.

Following renders above, Ytechb reports that Samsung has seemingly leaked cases for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ on its website ahead of the tablet’s official launch.

The case, a Smart Book Cover in an orange two-tone design, includes a kickstand, detachable sections, and an S Pen holder. It’s priced at $124.99.

Additionally, according to leaker Anthony on X, it may feature the new Galaxy AI button found on the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

Display

Samsung’s FE tablets have traditionally used LCD panels rather than the AMOLED displays found in premium models. As such, the Tab S10 FE series is likely to feature a vibrant LCD screens as well.

Roland Quandt reports that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will feature a 10.9-inch screen, maintaining the same size as its predecessor. In contrast, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will come with a larger display than the Tab S9 FE+, measuring 13.1 inches instead of 12.4 inches.

WinFuture confirms the increase in display size and also claims the screen has a resolution of 2880×1800.

Performance

According to GizmoChina, Android Authority and WinFuture, both the Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+ will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, a step up from the Exynos 1380 used in the Tab S9 FE series.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE appeared on Geekbench, confirming the Exynos 1580 processor and 8GB RAM (with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage options). It scored 1,349 in the single-core test and 3,882 in the multi-core test, marking a 33-41% performance boost over its predecessor.

WinFuture and Roland Quandt also claim that both models will feature up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD. Additionally, Xpertpick reports the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series will be available in both Wi-Fi-only and 5G models.

However, leaker Anthony suggests in its post on X that the series could feature the Exynos 2400e chipset, though this is not based on any concrete evidence.

Cameras

A notable upgrade for the Tab S10 FE series is the primary camera, which will (according to GalaxyClub and WinFuture) feature a 13Mp sensor, up from the 8Mp camera in the Tab S9 FE.

This should enhance photo and video quality, making it better suited for casual photography and video calls. Xpertpick and WinFuture also report that it will feature a 12Mp front-facing camera.

Battery & Charging

As per the same Xpertpick report, FCC and 3C certifications confirm that the Tab S10 FE will feature 45W wired charging. WinFuture adds that battery capacities remain unchanged, with 8,000mAh for the smaller model and 10,090mAh for the larger one.

As a reminder, the Tab S9 FE featured an 8000mAh battery and 45W charging support, while the S9 FE+ has a 10,090mAh cell with the same 45W charging.

Software

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE will likely ship with Samsung’s One UI 7 skin over Android 15, offering a user-friendly interface and access to Samsung’s productivity features.

Judging by the Samsung website, US buyers will likely be able to enjoy a one-year free subscription to Goodnotes, enhancing the device’s appeal for note-taking and productivity.

It’s unclear at this stage whether Samsung will improve on the Tab S9 FE‘s commitment to four major OS updates and five years of security patches. For context, the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra offer seven years of both.
