Razer has teamed up with Microsoft’s Minecraft to introduce a new lineup of PC peripherals inspired by the game’s iconic Creeper design. While these devices don’t introduce new features or technology, they offer a visually striking “reskin” of existing Razer products, complete with in-game item bonuses for players.
The lineup includes the $169.99 Razer BlackWidow V4 X Minecraft Edition keyboard, the $99.99 Razer Kraken V4 X Minecraft Edition headset, and the $59.99 Razer Cobra Minecraft Edition mouse. Additionally, Razer has revealed the Minecraft-themed Gigantus V2 M mouse pad, though this particular item has yet to be listed for sale. The standard Gigantus V2, however, is priced at $29.99.
Among these, the Razer Cobra Minecraft Edition stands out the most, thanks to its striking Creeper-inspired design. While the Creeper’s face has been compressed onto a single button, the overall aesthetic stays true to the game’s pixelated charm. Buyers of this mouse will also receive the in-game Overgrown Arm item as a bonus. The same in-game item is included with the Gigantus mouse pad, which seems like an ideal addition for any young Minecraft fan looking to complete their setup.
Razer has done an impressive job incorporating Minecraft‘s signature pixelated visuals onto its peripherals. The BlackWidow V4 X keyboard doesn’t offer any additional functionality beyond its standard features, but it does feature the Creeper face in multiple locations, giving it a distinct look reminiscent of a pinball machine back panel. Those who purchase the BlackWidow keyboard will also unlock the Ender Dragon Shawl in-game cosmetic.
The Kraken headset takes a different approach, giving the Creeper a more menacing look. Like the BlackWidow keyboard, it includes the Ender Dragon Shawl as an in-game bonus. Given that Razer previously released a Fortnite edition of the BlackWidow keyboard, this Minecraft collaboration suggests the company may be open to more themed peripheral releases in the future.
