Many Samsung phone users are eagerly awaiting the update to One UI 7, which brings many improvements and new features. However, not everyone will get it, and the rest will have to patiently wait their turn.

Fortunately, while the update initially debuted with the Galaxy S25 series, an official release date has now finally been set for the remaining Galaxy phones and tablets.

When will my Samsung Galaxy phone get One UI 7?

One UI 7 was introduced on 22 January 2025, at the time being available only for the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung has since released a beta version of the system for the Galaxy S24 series.

An official stable update for older Galaxy devices has been announced for April 2025. While the exact release date remains undetermined, users can now expect it to arrive next month.

Additionally, the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will get the beta starting from 6 March 2025, with the Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series and A55 joining later this month.

However, it’s not known whether all eligible models will receive the stable update at the same time, or whether the rollout will continue throughout the whole month.

While the Galaxy S21 series and S22 series as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3 and Flip 3, are eligible for One UI 7, they may experience a slight delay in receiving the update compared to newer models.

Samsung’s mid-range devices and some budget-friendly phones may also start receiving the update at a later date. As usual, Samsung prioritises its flagship lineups before extending the update to other models.

Predicting when Samsung’s Android tablets will get the update is a bit more challenging. However, eligible tablets include the Galaxy Tab S8 series and newer.

Which Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets will get One UI 7?

Generally, any Galaxy phone or tablet that launched with Android 13 is expected to receive Android 15 (One UI 7), as Samsung guarantees at least two major OS upgrades for almost all of its Android devices.

Additionally, flagship and mid-range models that qualify for four years of OS updates will also be included in the One UI 7 rollout. Since all devices under Samsung’s four-year update policy were released with Android 11 or later, they are eligible for Android 15.

Naturally, all Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets launching in 2025 will ship with One UI 7, including the Galaxy S25 Edge, A26A36 and A56.
