Intel has rolled out its latest graphics driver, version 32.0.101.6987, delivering a range of improvements for Intel Arc and other supported GPUs. According to performance testing by Windows Latest, users can expect a notable boost in frame rates, with gains between 5 and 6 percent depending on the specific graphics chip. This translates to smoother animations for everyday Windows use and enhanced, more fluid gameplay for gamers across a variety of titles.

One of the standout additions in this release is a new “Shared GPU Memory Override” feature. This gives users greater control over how much system memory their integrated Intel Arc GPU can allocate, allowing for customized performance tuning based on their workload or hardware configuration. This feature is currently being gradually introduced on select PC models.

In addition to performance gains, Intel has optimized these drivers to be more resource-efficient, which should translate to slightly improved battery life on laptops — a welcome benefit for mobile users.

The updated Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6987 (WHQL Certified) supports a broad spectrum of hardware, including:

  • Intel Arc B-Series and A-Series Graphics
  • Intel Iris Xe Graphics
  • Intel Core Ultra Processors featuring Intel Arc Graphics

It’s compatible with several Intel CPU generations, covering 11th Gen Tiger Lake and Rocket Lake, through to the latest 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh, and including the new Intel Core Ultra family such as Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake series.

Supported operating systems include Windows 11 and multiple 64-bit versions of Windows 10 (21H2, 22H2, and the base version).

Users can download the update via the Intel Graphics Software app by checking the Home tab for version 32.0.101.6987, a hefty 949.8 MB download. Alternatively, the update is available on the Intel download portal or via the Intel Driver and Support Assistant for those not using the Intel Graphics Software suite.
