Logitech appears to be on the verge of unveiling the next iteration of its premium productivity mouse lineup, the MX Master 4, with newly leaked details shedding light on what users can expect. According to a report from German outlet WinFuture, which was also highlighted by The Verge, the upcoming device builds upon the much-loved MX Master 3 and 3S while introducing several notable upgrades. Among the most exciting features is haptic feedback, designed to provide subtle vibrations during key actions such as switching between devices, fine-tuning cursor speed, or adjusting user-defined settings. This tactile feedback will reportedly be customizable, giving professionals more control over their workflow.

The MX Master 4 also introduces a brand-new “Action Ring” menu, offering users streamlined shortcuts for commonly used functions, a move that could further enhance the mouse’s already strong productivity credentials. Logitech has also upgraded the device with silent clicks, a feature carried over from the MX Master 3S, ensuring quieter operation in shared or professional environments. The design remains familiar yet refined, with more durable materials, a slightly textured finish, and transparent main buttons to distinguish it from its predecessors. Notably, battery life and DPI sensitivity remain unchanged, which suggests Logitech is doubling down on proven performance while focusing its innovations on usability and customization.

The Logitech MX Master 4 is expected to officially launch on September 30th, with a retail price of €129.99 (around $150 USD). Given the enduring popularity of the MX Master series among creative professionals, programmers, and multitaskers, this release is shaping up to be one of Logitech’s most anticipated product drops of the year.
