Tsavorite Scalable Intelligence has secured more than $100 million in pre-orders for its Omni Processing Unit (OPU), a next-generation AI chip designed to handle advanced computing workloads across data centers, enterprises, and cloud platforms.
The OPU combines CPU, GPU, memory, and connectivity into one device, allowing flexible reconfiguration for diverse AI applications while reducing power use and costs. The chip will be manufactured using Samsung’s SF4X platform, the startup confirmed.
Founded in 2023 by former Intel and semiconductor veterans, Tsavorite is set to deliver its first chips and AI appliances next year, targeting industries building agentic AI systems — advanced, autonomous AI models capable of coordinating multi-step workflows.
CEO Shalesh Thusoo described the platform as “developer-friendly and composable,” claiming it offers significant gains in performance and efficiency from edge to hyperscale computing.
The company declined to share valuation or funding details, but the surge in early orders underscores rising global demand for scalable AI infrastructure, especially among enterprises in the U.S., Europe, and Asia seeking alternatives to traditional GPU-dependent systems.
