AI chipmaker Cerebras is pursuing a valuation of up to $26.6 billion in its U.S. IPO, positioning itself as one of the most significant pure-play artificial intelligence infrastructure offerings in public markets as investor appetite for advanced semiconductor companies intensifies.
Known for its wafer-scale engine technology — a radically different chip architecture designed to accelerate AI model training and inference — Cerebras is aiming to challenge Nvidia’s dominance by offering specialized high-speed compute systems built for large-scale enterprise and cloud AI deployment.
The company plans to raise approximately $3.5 billion through the offering, marking a major second attempt after shelving an earlier IPO plan.
