Logitech has introduced a new accessory aimed at boosting productivity for content creators, known as the MX Creative Console. Unlike traditional devices like the Elgato Stream Deck, which focus on streaming controls, the MX Creative Console is tailored for more efficient photo, video, and audio editing, as reported by The Verge.
The MX Creative Console comprises two distinct devices designed to streamline the editing process. The first component is a keypad featuring nine dynamic LCD buttons that allow users to launch different applications and execute various actions within each app. With the addition of two paging buttons, users can easily navigate between 15 pages, providing access to a total of 135 unique actions for each application.
Accompanying the keypad is a customizable dial that facilitates scrolling actions, which can be particularly useful for tasks such as adjusting brush sizes in Photoshop, scrubbing through timelines in Premiere Pro, or zooming in and out in Lightroom. Additionally, four buttons surrounding the dial provide quick access to frequently used functions, such as undoing the last action.
Logitech has also developed custom plugins for a range of Adobe’s most popular applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. With Logitech’s dedicated app, users can further tailor the buttons and pages for each application, enhancing their editing workflow.
The MX Creative Console is currently available for pre-order in two stylish color options: Pale Grey and Graphite. Priced at $199.99, the purchase includes a complimentary three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps, making it an enticing offer for creatives looking to elevate their editing experience.
