Eufy Expands HomeKit Support with the New Indoor Cam E30

In an unexpected turn of events, Anker’s Eufy has launched its second HomeKit-compatible security camera in just a few months, marking a significant shift in its stance toward Apple’s smart home platform. The new Eufy Indoor Cam E30 is available now for $69.99, or just $59.99 for Prime members (with a 30-day free trial available).

The Indoor Cam E30 is an upgrade to its predecessor, the Indoor Cam 2K Pan and Tilt, and features a motorized lens that can pan, tilt, and zoom across the room. It’s capable of 4K video resolution, although HomeKit users will experience a resolution cap of 1080p. The camera is equipped with an integrated spotlight for color night vision and can seamlessly switch to infrared when light conditions are insufficient. AI-driven features allow the camera to detect people, pets, and even specific sounds like a crying baby.

The E30 also offers local storage with an SD card, eliminating the need for a paid subscription plan, though cloud storage options are available starting at $2.99 per month. The camera also works with Eufy’s HomeBase S380, which offers facial recognition and up to 16TB of storage.
