GE Aerospace’s FlightPulse, a flight data app designed to help pilots analyze and improve performance, has grown to more than 60,000 users across 42 airlines, up 50% from last year, the company said. It expects to surpass 70,000 pilots by year-end.

Developed with Qantas, FlightPulse provides pilots with detailed post-flight analytics — from landing attitudes to thrust management — allowing them to enhance safety and reduce fuel consumption. Qantas, Delta Air Lines, and NetJets are among its major adopters.

Qantas safety chief Mark Cameron said the app has helped refine operational efficiency by using aggregated flight data to recommend fuel-saving techniques such as reducing reverse thrust after landing.

GE Aerospace’s Andrew Coleman said the company’s long-term goal is to reach 100,000 users by 2026, noting that airlines can only view their own data to maintain pilot trust. “The data isn’t used punitively — it’s about helping pilots perform better,” he added.

The expansion underscores GE Aerospace’s growing presence in aviation software and analytics, complementing its role as a leading aircraft engine maker.
