Smart garden technology brand iGarden used CES this week to expand its robotic lawn mower lineup, unveiling two new models designed to simplify lawn care for homeowners. The new additions include a standard L Series mower with two-wheel drive and a more capable L AWD Series variant aimed at yards with challenging terrain, reinforcing the company’s push into AI-powered outdoor automation.

Both models are built around iGarden’s AI ecosystem and feature an 8-hour runtime, along with LiDAR-based navigation, AI vision, and a 1080p wide-angle HD camera. This sensor combination enables real-time mapping, obstacle detection, and route optimization without relying on traditional perimeter wires or RTK positioning systems, which are commonly used in higher-end robotic mowers. iGarden says this approach significantly reduces setup time and complexity.

The L AWD Series differentiates itself with all-wheel drive, allowing it to handle slopes of up to 70% (35 degrees), making it better suited for uneven lawns and steep inclines. Both models use intelligent route planning to ensure consistent coverage and even cutting, with the goal of minimizing missed spots or unnecessary overlap.

The new robotic mowers integrate into iGarden’s broader app-controlled backyard ecosystem, which was also showcased at CES. While the company positioned its AI platform as a centralized hub for connected outdoor devices, it stopped short of detailing full feature support or third-party compatibility. Attendees can see the new mowers in person at iGarden’s CES booth #51248.
