Warner Bros Discovery is reportedly considering reopening sale discussions with Paramount Skydance following a revised takeover proposal.

According to reports, Warner Bros’ board is evaluating whether Paramount’s latest offer could lead to a more favorable agreement. The amended proposal includes added financial incentives, such as additional cash payments to shareholders if the deal is delayed beyond this year.

Paramount has also agreed to cover a potential breakup fee that Warner Bros would owe Netflix should it abandon its current arrangement. However, the revised offer does not increase the per-share purchase price.

The renewed interest signals ongoing consolidation pressure within the entertainment industry as major studios explore strategic partnerships to strengthen their market position.
