In a surprising twist, Incase, known for its expertise in laptop bags and sleeves, has stepped into the spotlight by reviving Microsoft’s PC accessory business. Last April, Microsoft had announced its exit from the PC accessory market, signaling the end of an era for its long-standing keyboard, mouse, headset, and speaker lineup. However, Incase is breathing new life into these products, as revealed on their official announcement page. The revived devices will now bear the branding “Incase Designed by Microsoft,” ensuring the continuation of these familiar peripherals with a fresh touch.

According to Incase’s announcement, the existing products in Microsoft’s accessory line will remain available, featuring Incase’s leaf-shaped logo as the only discernible alteration. The collaboration will include a range of devices, from the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop to the Modern Wireless Headset and beyond. Although specific details regarding pricing and release dates are yet to be disclosed, Incase’s foray into Microsoft’s accessory market signals a strategic move to expand its product offerings without the need to develop entirely new items.
