Although the developer beta has been available since June, it’s often less stable and intended for developers. The public beta offers a more stable experience, but it’s worth noting that it’s still not as polished as the final iOS 18 release, which is expected this fall. New features in iOS 18 include a revamped photo album, satellite text messaging, a dedicated password app, enhanced home screen customization, an updated control center, and support for RCS messaging.
