In the quest to be the absolute best camera phone around, Oppo continues to add features to its latest flagship.
Both the Find X6 Pro and Find X7 Ultra offered great cameras and photo quality, and now the newest Find X8 Pro is all about pushing the boundaries even more.
Its new ‘Triple Prism Periscope’ structure reflects light three times within the camera module, allowing Oppo to pack more zoom power into a phone that stays impressively slim.
Compared to traditional periscope lenses, Oppo claims its triple prism setup is 33% smaller in volume, helping the device maintain a sleek profile without sacrificing quality.
On top of that, Oppo has also paired this innovation with a 50Mp Sony LYT600 sensor, which is about 2.5 times the size of the 3x sensor in competing devices.

One of the biggest frustrations with phone zoom has always been the drop in quality when transitioning between focal lengths. Oppo tackles this issue with its ‘Gapless Zoom’ technology.
The Find X8 Pro combines its dual-periscope cameras, offering both 3x (73mm) and 6x (135mm) zoom levels, with in-sensor processing to smooth out the gaps. This means that users can zoom from 15mm all the way to 300mm without noticeable quality loss or awkward jumps.
It’s a massive improvement for anyone who loves experimenting with zoom, whether they’re capturing sweeping landscapes or distant subjects.

Lastly, Oppo’s ‘AI Telescope Zoom’ brings artificial intelligence into the mix, making zoomed-in photos sharper and more detailed.
When you push beyond 10x zoom, the phone’s AI kicks in to enhance details that would normally get lost. At an impressive 60x zoom, the Find X8 Pro uses on-device AI models to refine the image to make distant subjects look more clear and vivid.
Whether you’re snapping faraway landmarks or capturing a performer at a concert, the ‘AI Telescope Zoom’ will try to make your shots look fantastic no matter how far you’re pushing the limits.
