Govee’s new Matter-enabled floor lamps are more than just eye candy. While many long and slender smart lamps focus on dramatic color effects, Govee’s latest lineup aims to balance ambient lighting with practical illumination for reading, working, or dining.
The company already has a strong portfolio of smart lighting, including the well-received Floor Lamp Pro and Floor Lamp 2. Those models impressed with their animated lighting scenes and multicolored wall washes, but they weren’t ideal for focused tasks. The new collection looks to bridge that gap by offering smarter designs and versatile lighting features.
Three new models make up this collection: the Uplighter Floor Lamp, the Torchiere Floor Lamp, and the Tree Floor Lamp. Each brings a unique design and all support Matter, allowing easy integration across Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home, and other smart ecosystems. These aren’t just ambient lights—they’re designed to illuminate workspaces and living areas in useful, customizable ways.
The Uplighter Floor Lamp ($179.99, available now) stands out with its three-zone design. The top zone projects multicolor light across ceilings up to 20 square meters, while the middle RGBIC zone adds visual flair. Most importantly, the lower zone emits up to 1,000 lumens of tunable white light, ranging from cozy 2,700K warmth to energizing 6,500K daylight—perfect for reading or evening productivity.
The Torchiere Floor Lamp ($149.99, launching July 7) is more ambiance-focused, with three curved lenses that blend colors across its trio of zones. This design can create elegant rainbow lighting effects and provides up to 780 lumens of white light when needed. It’s ideal for mood lighting but also offers enough brightness for general use.
The Tree Floor Lamp ($169.99, also arriving July 7) features three fully adjustable arms that can rotate 350 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically. This allows for incredibly flexible lighting setups. Each lamp head can also narrow its beam angle from 90 to 30 degrees, enabling everything from wide ambient spreads to focused task lighting. It outputs up to 1,500 lumens at its brightest 6,500K setting.
All three lamps support music sync via built-in microphones, enabling pulsing light shows tied to your favorite songs. While these models don’t include integrated speakers like the Floor Lamp Pro, they can easily sync with any external music source. Each lamp also works with Govee’s app, offering animated scenes, custom modes, and grouping features for whole-room lighting coordination.
If you’re looking for floor lamps that do more than just look good in the background, Govee’s new models might just light the way.
