Nearly half-off for Prime Day, this tiny Echo speaker packs Alexa while doubling as an extender for Amazon’s Eero mesh Wi-Fi routers.
One of Amazon’s best Prime Day deals on Echo devices is for the diminutive Echo Pop, and this mini smart speaker tucks in a key benefit for users of Amazon’s Eero mesh Wi-Fi routers (and the Ring Alarm Pro home security system, too, since it has an Eero router inside).
On sale for $21.99, a cool 45% Prime Day discount, the Echo Pop is Amazon’s smallest Echo speaker. No, the Pop’s audio quality isn’t all that amazing, but it still packs Alexa, perfect for controlling smart devices, setting alarms, or getting a quick weather report. The Pop will also work with the new, AI-enhanced Alexa+ once that Alexa upgrade rolls out more widely.
If you happen to be the owner of an Amazon Eero mesh Wi-Fi system (or a Ring Alarm Pro), the Echo Pop story gets even more interesting. Besides its typical Alexa capabilities, the Echo Pop doubles as an Eero range extender, capable of boosting the reach of your Eero mesh Wi-Fi network by up to 1,000 square feet. This makes the discounted Echo Pop a sensational—and sensationally affordable—way to bathe your home in wireless Eero coverage.
Normally priced at $39.99, the Echo Pop doesn’t go on sale all that often. Whether you’re looking to put Alexa in every room or give your Eero mesh network a shot in the arm, don’t let this killer Prime Day deal pass you by.
