Earlier this summer, Google introduced a variety of AI-powered enhancements to its popular Google Forms survey platform, aiming to make survey creation faster and more intuitive. Building on this momentum, Google has now announced the rollout of additional AI-driven features designed to further streamline the survey-building process.
The latest update enables Google’s Gemini AI to actively assist users in crafting more comprehensive surveys. After you create a new form and enter at least two initial questions, a new question suggestion button will appear beneath your existing questions. With a single click, Gemini will analyze your current input and generate between two to four new relevant questions and answer options tailored to your survey’s context.
This AI-assisted question generation can save survey creators considerable time and effort, especially for those less experienced in designing surveys or looking to explore angles they might not have considered. By leveraging Gemini’s understanding of the survey content, users can enhance the depth and breadth of their questionnaires with minimal manual input.
The feature is currently being rolled out to Google Workspace Rapid Release domains, with Scheduled Release domains slated to receive the update starting August 19th. Since Google typically staggers deployments, it may take up to 15 days from the initial rollout for the feature to appear in all eligible accounts. Users interested in trying the new AI-powered suggestions should keep an eye on their Google Forms interface for the arrival of the suggestion button beneath their questions.
