While the exact game discounts remain under wraps until each event kicks off, Steam is continuing its practice of revealing sale dates early—giving gamers a chance to prepare their wishlists and budgets. Among the highlights is the major Steam Winter Sale, which technically spans two years this time, running from December 18, 2025, through January 5, 2026.
Starting in January, the schedule brings a flurry of themed events, beginning with Detective Fest from January 12–19, followed by Board Game Fest from January 26–February 2.
