HealthTap is partnering with Eli Lilly’s digital health platform LillyDirect to offer virtual diabetes care for patients across the U.S. The telehealth firm’s doctors will manage medications, review labs, and provide ongoing preventive treatment through an integrated online model.

The collaboration comes as demand for diabetes and weight-loss drugs like GLP-1s surges, with pharma companies and telehealth startups launching new consumer-facing services. “Lilly’s platform attracts patients seeking primary care, and we’re positioned as a trusted option within it,” said HealthTap CEO Sean Mehra.

Other providers, including knownwell, have joined LillyDirect in recent months, while the platform itself has expanded into Alzheimer’s telemedicine services.

The partnership underscores the growing role of telehealth in chronic disease management, connecting patients to consistent digital care through major pharmaceutical networks.
