Windows 11 24H2 Upgrade Now Unblocked After Webcam Issue
Since last fall, many users were unable to upgrade to Windows 11 version 24H2 due to a mysterious compatibility issue with certain webcams. The specific models and the exact cause of the error remained unclear, leaving affected users stuck on older versions.

According to Windows Latest, Microsoft has now resolved the webcam-related problem, allowing previously blocked users to upgrade to 24H2 or even the newer 25H2 update without issues.

This comes at a crucial time: official support for Windows 11 version 23H2 ends on November 11th. Users who haven’t yet upgraded have just over a month to move to a supported version to continue receiving security updates and feature improvements.
