Acer is returning to CES 2026 with an updated Swift laptop lineup that continues to prioritize thin, lightweight designs, while placing an even heavier emphasis on on-device AI features. Branded as Copilot+ PCs, the new Swift models are designed to enhance everyday workflows through AI-powered capabilities such as improved background noise reduction during calls, meeting summaries, and smarter system-level optimizations.
Leading the lineup is the Swift 16 AI, a creator-focused notebook built for users who need strong performance without stepping up to a bulky workstation. The laptop features a large haptic touchpad that supports stylus-style input for drawing and precise control, paired with a 16-inch OLED touchscreen running at 2880 × 1800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the system is Intel’s Ultra X9 388H processor, positioning the Swift 16 AI as a capable option for tasks such as video editing, content creation, and 3D workloads in a portable form factor.
The Swift Edge AI targets users who prioritize mobility above all else. Available in both 14-inch and 16-inch configurations, these models weigh under 2.20 pounds while still meeting military-grade durability standards. Despite their ultra-light construction, the laptops feature OLED displays, Intel Ultra-series processors, and multi-control touchpads designed to simplify media playback and video conferencing controls. Acer is clearly positioning the Swift Edge AI as a premium travel-friendly laptop that does not compromise on performance or build quality.
Rounding out the lineup is the Swift Go AI, which serves as Acer’s more mainstream option. Offered in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, the Swift Go AI balances slim design with practical performance, delivering OLED displays, Intel Ultra processors, and a broad selection of ports. While less specialized than the Swift 16 AI or Swift Edge AI, it still includes the same core AI-driven features aimed at productivity and creative tasks.
All Swift models ship with Windows 11 and Acer’s integrated AI software suite, which includes customizable hotkeys, enhanced conferencing tools, and system-level AI optimizations. Availability will vary by model and region, with Acer planning launches across North America, Europe, and Australia from early to mid-2026.
