Samsung Confirms Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 Are Coming Later This Year
Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone and Galaxy Tab S12 tablet will launch later in 2026. The announcement was made during the company’s latest earnings call, just days after unveiling its newest foldable smartphones and smartwatches at Galaxy Unpacked.
The upcoming devices will expand Samsung’s premium Galaxy lineup and strengthen its mobile portfolio for the second half of the year.
Galaxy S26 FE to Complete the S26 Family
Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE (Fan Edition) will join the existing Galaxy S26 series, which currently includes:
- Galaxy S26
- Galaxy S26+
- Galaxy S26 Ultra
According to Samsung, launching the Fan Edition later in the year will help maintain momentum for the successful S26 lineup, which contributed to increased smartphone sales during the second quarter.
Industry reports suggest the Galaxy S26 FE could debut in August or September.
Galaxy Tab S12 Also Confirmed
Samsung also announced that the Galaxy Tab S12 series will arrive during the second half of 2026.
While the company has not revealed specifications or pricing, reports indicate the tablets could launch in September or October, following the release of the new Galaxy foldable devices.

Leaked information suggests Samsung may simplify its tablet lineup this year by offering only:

If the reports prove accurate, the base Galaxy Tab S12 model may not be released.
