IPVanish Rolls Out Transparency-Focused Trust Center and Confirms No-Logs Status with New Audit

IPVanish, a well-regarded VPN among privacy enthusiasts, has just unveiled a significant update aimed at boosting user trust and transparency. The company has launched a new Trust Center—a centralized portal where users can explore IPVanish’s data-handling practices, audit results, and law enforcement data requests. This move is designed to provide clear insight into how user information is managed and protected, with all documentation publicly accessible in one place. The Trust Center includes links to independent audit reports, descriptions of security methodologies, and a dedicated section on user data requests by legal authorities.

The launch of this Trust Center comes at a time when VPN providers are under increasing pressure to demonstrate accountability in the face of growing numbers of user data requests from governments and law enforcement agencies. IPVanish’s approach is part of a broader industry trend toward transparency, where VPNs proactively publish this kind of information as a way to inform users while navigating complex legal obligations such as gag orders. It serves as both a safeguard for users and a way for providers to reinforce their no-logs claims.

In addition to launching the Trust Center, IPVanish also announced the successful completion of its latest no-logs audit. The independent audit was conducted in February by Schellman Compliance, LLC, a respected cybersecurity firm known for its rigorous assessments. The firm verified once again that IPVanish does not collect, monitor, or store any user activity data on its servers. This marks the company’s second major audit in recent years, following its 2022 review which confirmed similar findings.

IPVanish’s Trust Center is now live and will be updated quarterly moving forward. By combining ongoing independent audits with a public-facing transparency hub, IPVanish is taking firm steps to assure users that their privacy remains a top priority.
