Ikarao Debuts Three Versatile Battery-Powered Smart Karaoke Speakers

Smart speaker releases have slowed down in recent months, but Ikarao is shaking things up with the debut of three new portable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi speakers designed for karaoke fans and audio enthusiasts alike. The company’s new lineup includes the Break X1, Break X2, and Shell S1 — each with built-in Android touchscreen displays and bundled wireless microphones for a complete all-in-one entertainment package.

Leading the lineup is the Ikarao Break X1, a powerhouse unit with a large 13.3-inch Android touchscreen that rotates 180 degrees. Designed to handle video playback and karaoke lyrics, it also features an HDMI port for TV output. Priced at $700, the Break X1 houses a 460W (peak) amplifier driving dual 2.6-inch tweeters and a 6.5-inch subwoofer. While the power specs are measured in peak watts (not RMS), the system is clearly built to fill a room with sound. The speaker includes two rechargeable super-cardioid wireless mics that dock inside the speaker to charge, plus aux-in for instruments, aux-out for external audio, USB, microSD, and Wi-Fi streaming.

Measuring 23.5 x 15 x 13.5 inches and weighing 13.2 pounds, the X1 is both hefty and portable, with a carry strap and a threaded mount for tripod installation. It’s available now on Amazon.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, the Ikarao Break X2 comes in at $479.99 and features a smaller 10.1-inch touchscreen along with a scaled-back 300W amplifier. The speaker uses a pair of 1.2-inch tweeters and two 4-inch woofers. Like the X1, it includes dual dockable mics and multiple inputs and outputs including Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI, AUX In/Out, USB, and microSD. Its dimensions are more compact at 8.3 x 11.8 x 10.58 inches, though it still weighs in at 13.2 pounds. This model is also available now at Amazon.

Rounding out the lineup is the Ikarao Shell S1, priced at $370. While it uses the same 10.1-inch display and wireless mic setup as the X2, its audio system is scaled down slightly. It features two 1-inch silk dome tweeters and a pair of 3.5-inch woofers driven by a 140W amplifier (50W per woofer, 20W per tweeter). Notably, the Shell S1 lacks a microSD slot but retains the USB port for offline playback. This model is also available through Amazon.

All three speakers come with a six-month subscription to Karafun, a karaoke software platform that runs on the built-in Android OS. Karafun supports pitch and tempo control, lyric display, HDMI output, and even offline playback for travel or outdoor use. When you’re not singing, the system includes access to trivia-style quiz games to keep the party going.

With competitive pricing and innovative features, Ikarao’s smart speakers could be the perfect fit for karaoke fans and party planners heading into summer. Full reviews are expected soon, starting with the flagship Break X1.
