Netflix will begin streaming several of Spotify’s leading video podcasts starting in early 2026, under a new distribution deal that expands both companies’ reach in the growing audio-visual content space.
The initial lineup will include popular titles such as “The Dave Chang Show,” “The Bill Simmons Podcast,” “The Big Picture,” “The Rewatchables,” “The Zach Lowe Show,” and “Serial Killers.” However, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Spotify’s most listened-to show worldwide, will not be included.
Netflix said the partnership aims to diversify its entertainment portfolio and attract new audiences by integrating video podcasts alongside its film, TV, and reality programming. “As video podcasts continue to grow in popularity, this partnership allows us to bring full video versions of top shows to both Netflix and Spotify viewers,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix’s VP of content licensing and programming strategy.
For Spotify, the collaboration helps creators gain exposure through Netflix’s vast subscriber base, offering a fresh distribution channel for its original content. The rollout will begin in the United States, with international expansion expected later in 2026.
Industry analysts view the move as part of a broader trend of convergence between streaming and podcast platforms, as competition for audience attention intensifies across media formats.
