Wipro has appointed insider Nagendra Bandaru as CEO of its newly formed artificial intelligence division, signaling a stronger push into AI-driven services.
Bandaru will lead efforts to develop agentic AI solutions and expand new business streams centered on artificial intelligence, as the company adapts to growing demand for automation and advanced digital services.
At the same time, Wipro announced the resignation of Suzanne Dann, who led the company’s “Americas 2” unit. This division accounts for roughly one-third of Wipro’s revenue and includes key markets such as Canada, along with major U.S. sectors like banking, financial services and energy.
To fill the leadership gap created by Bandaru’s move, Wipro has hired Kanwar Singh, a former Accenture executive, as president and managing partner of its technology services business line.
The restructuring reflects a broader trend among global IT services firms to reorganize leadership and resources around AI capabilities, which are increasingly central to enterprise transformation strategies.
