Tiger Global Management reduced several major technology holdings during the second quarter while adding new positions in SpaceX and Advanced Micro Devices, according to regulatory filings.

The hedge fund cut its Alphabet stake by more than 45%, reduced holdings in Nvidia, Microsoft, Amazon and Meta, and sold its entire Netflix position. It also sharply lowered exposure to Broadcom and trimmed its stake in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing.

At the same time, Tiger Global increased its exposure to selected semiconductor and aerospace companies. The fund more than doubled its Intel position to 4.25 million shares and established a new AMD stake worth roughly $392 million as of June 30.

Tiger Global also disclosed a 375,000-share position in SpaceX, valued at approximately $64.1 million, giving the investment firm exposure to Elon Musk’s expanding space and satellite business.

The portfolio changes suggest a rotation away from some of the largest established technology companies toward businesses that could benefit from continued growth in AI computing, semiconductors and space infrastructure.

However, quarterly 13-F filings provide only a snapshot of certain U.S.-listed holdings and do not reveal short positions, subsequent trades or a fund’s complete investment strategy.
