Google Chrome continues to dominate the web browser market, reaching an all-time high in popularity. According to the latest data from Statcounter, Chrome holds a staggering 71.77 percent market share across all platforms, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. This marks the highest share Chrome has ever achieved, underscoring its enduring dominance despite competition and recent privacy concerns.
In second place is Apple Safari at 13.9 percent, largely fueled by iPhone usage. Microsoft Edge follows with 4.67 percent, while Mozilla Firefox, Samsung Internet, and Opera trail behind at 2.17 percent, 1.86 percent, and 1.74 percent, respectively.
Google’s success comes despite scrutiny over issues such as hidden malicious extensions and the integration of AI features directly into the browser, proving that users remain loyal even amid controversy.
