Nvidia will supply Amazon Web Services with 1 million AI chips by the end of 2027 under a major cloud infrastructure deal, reinforcing its position at the center of the artificial intelligence boom.
The agreement includes not only GPUs but also networking and inference-focused chips, forming a broader hardware package to support large-scale AI workloads. Deliveries are expected to begin this year and continue through 2027.
Amazon plans to deploy a mix of Nvidia technologies, including advanced chips designed for AI inference, alongside its own infrastructure. The collaboration also extends to integrating Nvidia’s networking systems into AWS data centers.
The deal highlights the increasing scale of investment by cloud providers as they compete to build AI infrastructure capable of handling growing demand.
It also aligns with Nvidia’s broader outlook, which projects massive revenue opportunities from next-generation AI chips over the coming years.
