Elon Musk said that Tesla and SpaceX AI will continue purchasing Nvidia chips at scale, reinforcing the chipmaker’s central role in powering advanced artificial intelligence systems.

Tesla is currently developing its fifth-generation AI chip, designed to support autonomous driving, humanoid robots and robotaxi services. While earlier versions focused on training workloads, newer chips are optimized for real-time AI processing at the edge.

Musk noted that Nvidia hardware remains critical for both training large AI models in data centers and supporting broader AI infrastructure across his companies.

The announcement highlights sustained demand for high-performance AI chips as Tesla accelerates its autonomous technology roadmap and expands its AI-driven products.
