Mini PCs continue to gain traction as affordable alternatives to bulky desktops and pricey laptops, and a new deal on the GMKtec M8 makes the case even stronger. The compact Windows 11 workstation is currently on sale for $324 on Amazon, down from its usual $480 price.

Despite its small footprint, the GMKtec M8 packs hardware that’s more than capable of handling everyday productivity. It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 6650H processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD. That configuration is enough for office work, web browsing, multitasking, and light creative tasks without slowing down. Storage can also be expanded significantly thanks to dual M.2 slots supporting up to 8TB.

Where the M8 stands out is connectivity. The system includes an Oculink PCIe 4.0 port, allowing users to attach an external GPU for more demanding graphics workloads or gaming. Without an eGPU, the integrated Radeon 660M graphics can still handle lighter titles and general multimedia tasks.

Additional connectivity includes USB4 with up to 40Gbps transfer speeds, HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.4. Each display output can handle 8K/60Hz individually, or the system can drive up to three 4K/60Hz monitors simultaneously. Networking is also robust, with dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, multiple USB-A connections, and wireless support.

At its discounted price, the GMKtec M8 offers a flexible option for users who want a compact home-office PC with upgrade potential. It can stay a low-cost productivity machine or scale up with external GPU support for heavier workloads.

The deal is listed as limited-time, so availability may vary depending on stock.
