Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has surpassed 750 million monthly users, according to the company’s fourth-quarter 2025 earnings report. The figure represents a notable jump from the 650 million users reported in the previous quarter, reflecting continued growth in adoption across Google’s AI services.
Gemini remains one of the largest AI chatbot platforms globally. For comparison, industry estimates suggest that ChatGPT reached roughly 810 million users by the end of 2025, while Meta AI reported around 500 million monthly users. The numbers highlight intensifying competition among major technology companies as AI assistants become central to their ecosystems.
The increase in Gemini usage coincides with the rollout of Gemini 3, Google’s latest AI model. The company says the updated model delivers improved performance across multiple benchmarks and supports a wider range of applications within its search, productivity, and mobile services.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai indicated that the company plans to continue expanding both free and paid offerings tied to Gemini. A lower-cost subscription tier, called Google AI Plus, is expected to help attract new users and drive further growth.
As AI tools become more integrated into everyday digital platforms, user numbers across competing services are likely to remain a key metric in measuring market momentum and influence.
